What BSI needed

BSI needed to automate the process of assigning auditors to clients looking for audit services. At the moment, the company performed this task manually, which required a lot of time and resources.

BSI required an experienced software development partner who could deliver an end-to-end application, from business analysis and UX design to architecture and implementation. They chose Brainhub because we offered them all these competencies in one small, battle-tested, full-stack team consisting of a project manager, a business analyst, a UX designer, and two software engineers.

Discovery Workshop

There is no better way to start a project faster and smoother, minimizing the risk of missing a business opportunity, than a discovery workshop. At the beginning of the collaboration, we gathered all available information on the project from BSI, and then together, we defined the product vision and the scope of the MVP we were to deliver. The workshop was attended by BSI stakeholders and the Brainhub project team, so we could explore all perspectives and build the groundwork for further collaboration.

Features to boost efficiency

We provided BSI with a web app to automate the auditors' assignment to clients. Our team covered business analysis, UX design, architecture, development, and implementation. The software allows BSI to enter the client's audit demand characteristics into the system. Then, it automatically selects professionals from the available cadre with the right skillset and matches them with the right clients, considering requirements, logistics, availability, and competence. The application has replaced the previous manual work and has significantly reduced the time needed to complete such a task. 

Scope to validate the business concept

BSI's main goal at this project stage was to validate the business concept, not to build a full-scale app. We delivered a scalable, robust MVP, providing a firm foundation for further development. The Brainhub team focused on cost and scope efficiency. We defined the minimum functionality needed to prove the hypothesis and added only those features justified by business objectives. BSI also received ideas for further app development and an outline of a future roadmap.
